This vinyl faced backup pad is a medium density pad. It is 1-1/4 inches in diameter with no holes and uses PSA abrasives.

The Mirka 32mm Vinyl-Faced Backing Plate is a must have for tight-area sanding & polishing tasks. When mounted to compact rotary or random orbital machines, these plates eliminate much of the difficulty and stress commonly associated with critical tight-area work. 

The soft-faced 32mm vinyl backup pad is designed to be used with Polarstar SR discs for spot repair of topcoats and clearcoats. The backup pad was designed to help produce an even scratch pattern to eliminate dirt nibs or acute surface defects that can be easily removed with polish.
