THE CONCEPT
The initial design concept for this light was to provide a daylight color corrective LED light source for paint inspection to identify pre-paint defects such as pin holes, sand- scratches and post-paint defects such as burn through and scratches. It can also be used to verify color match and check for complete coverage or full hiding, verify blends and check for proper metallic layout and blend edges for halos. Since, it has proven to be an almost perfect light source for inspecting wood components and finishes.
