Product Overview
Resin fiber discs are made of a stiff fiberboard (vulcanized fiber) backing, coated with a single layer of resin and abrasive. The resulting rigidity is ideal for use in weld/heavy stock removal applications, but can also be used for the deburring of metal parts and casting flash removal. Some resin fiber discs feature an additional grinding aid to help reduce friction and heat in high temperature applications.
Aluminum Oxide Ideal for general purpose applications.
These applications may include mild weld blending, surface grinding, deburring and/or finishing for a variety of metals.
Uses: Taps, casings and cast parts.
